If you have a clear sky and not much light pollution with a view to the north the chance of seeing the Aurora tonight is very good. Currently the magnetic activity is high with Lancaster University Aurorawatch giving a red alert. Aurora possibly visible from all the UK.

Yes had a nice view of them from my house (Isle of Skye) last night

 

 

And then over a nearby loch

sadly we were in the clouds all evening yesterady.

So jealous - we were under a bank of fog all night

Going to Iceland next Thursday, just hoping the solar activity keeps going until then!

Just found out I could have seen this over Brecon last night, could have jumped in the car and gone up there !!!
