I'm trying to change the wiring loom on the drivers airbag but can't get the connector off the airbag. I've pulled out the yellow clip but the purple connector won't come out. Is there a trick to doing it?

 

Strangely I've done it before on another vehicle and that just fell out once the yellow clip had been pulled out.

 

you need pull the yellow tab up

 

and prise the plug up from both sides

 

some are easy and some are more of a PITA

It took a big pull and then when flying across the room. (The cable not the airbag!!)
