Faulty Rear Wiper

Featured Replies

Hey all!

First post here - been using the forums for a while and have fixed a great many problems using existing posts but I'm drawing a blank on this. Recently my 02 Octy Estate's rear wiper stopped working. Fuse is good. Figuring it was probably the motor, as a lot have had problems with it, picked up a spare motor from the scrapyard for a tenner, still doesn't work! I've checked the voltages on the connector, which is labelled 15, ww, int, 31. There's 12V between 15 and 31 (ground and +vcc), and 12V between ww and ground when pushing the stalk to the point where it'll wash, but no change in voltage on the int pin. Strange, as according to that I'd be expecting it to wipe when washing, but not when just on interval wipe.. (I'm just guessing here)! Today I went in search of a relay, but I'm not sure such a thing exists for the rear wiper? There's definitely one for the front wiper system, which clicks away in it's location near the fuse box. I'm running on rather limited knowledge here but any help would be appreciated! 95% certain it isn't the new motor and something before that..

Cheers!
