I'm glad I've stumbled across this site.  Looks like there's a wealth of information on here!!  I currently drive a Focus ST and was heavily involved in their owners club.

 

I've just ordered a manual Octavia VRS diesel Estate.

 

I've gone for:

 

Candy white

Red cloth stitching

Anthracite Gemini Alloys

Columbus Sat Nav

Heated Front Seats

Black design pack

Folding door mirrors.

 

I've purchased through a broker and managed to get the above spec for £21,800 which I think is a good deal!  They say it could take 12-14 weeks to be built, going to be an agonising wait!! 

 

I hope the power is ok, coming from a re-mapped ST.  I think I might re-map the Octavia once it's run in so any tips would be useful!

Nice spec - fairly close to mine, sure you'll love it. You should get a build week advised soon, but probably week 19 - when i was in dealers last week lead to build week was apparently 7-8 weeks for all varieties of the oct3 but currently deliveries seem to be slow coming over on boat (allow 4 weeks+ to get from Emden to Grimsby or port of tyne, to your dealer) - so they are probably right with 12 weeks-ish. Long enough but much better than alot of people previously.

 

Not sure how the power will feel to the focus but DTUK do a tuning box which i gather can deliver 230-240 bhp but others on here will advise further on this.
