Came back from holiday yesterday to find battery as flat as a pancake in airport car park. RAC man came and diagnosed it as a dead and broken battery, paid for replacement.

 

As soon as car was running I went into the data setting via the nipple on the right hand side of the steering column and changed the time. The nipple worked scrolling and when you clicked in. Thought nothing more of it.

 

Now a day later the nipple on the right hand side will allow scrolling but when I click in nothing. Can't change the time or get into the sub menu of the 'MFD'?

 

It is stuck in option one for data which is just that single journey. Any ideas on how to get the nipple clicking again?

Yes thats my fear, anyone if it is a DIY job, cost, garage etc? Any advice welcome.

Dumb question but what are they without the phone controls? You just offering the back end electronics?
