So did you buy a Diesel one but post in the Fabia section by mistake, or have you bought a Fabia?

If thats a diesel one, that is terrible MPG.

Not being unkind but what did the OP expect putting a 1.6 Diesel engine in a car that size? The one thing my Fabia vRS Mk I taught me was that big engines make for relaxed driving and excellent fuel economy.

I run a 313PS 3.0 TDi A6 allroad which is permanent 4WD and it does 45mpg because it's never pushed that hard. In the real world you'll never get great economy from a tiny engine in a massive car.
