Which plugs for my vrs please

Featured Replies

Hi I have done nearly 5k in fabia now since. I bought her and think I should change the plugs, but which ones you guys recommend me it has had few mods like cat back exhaust, induction kit and map. I presume it's plugs as yesterday when started car cold was running very lumpy then switched it off and on again and was fine. Any help grateful thanks

I have fitted NGK BKR7EIX , there are other plugs available.... lol..

I been told them plugs before but also the bkr8eix ones that's why I asked which ones would best suit my car thanks though

I went to skoda dealers the other day and they told me the ones on system are showing as NGK N63 something? This sound right Dave?

Maybe consider getting

Denso Iridium ,  SKJ20CR~A8 ,  (3371)

instead of the NGK 7's or 8's

?

Is it Stage 1 it is mapped to,  Whos MAP?   Ask them maybe on their recommendation.

OP the difference between 7's and 8's are the 8's are cooler plugs for a hotter (more highly tuned) engine.

George likes the Denso ones, If my 7's dont work well, I will be trying those next ;)

Hi yes stage 1 215 bhp would that explain the cold start issue I have had

Yes. If you're running Stage 1 remap with standard plugs, you might have some cold start issues among other things. Better change those for colder ones quick :)
