I have serviced the car (2010 CR VRS FL) but cannot get the service indicator to reset. I have tried several tmes but it will not reset although I have reset it once in the past.

 

What gadget do I need to purchase to do this?

I have maxidot and have tried several times with the clock reset button to no avail.

This one shows pushing the button in before turning right.

 

You can reset it. I have done it before but this time it just won't reset. I also tried pressing the button before the right turn but it still doesn't work.

 

Any other ways that have worked for anyone else?

IIRC, isn't "Reset service indicator" an option in one of the maxidot menus - possibly under vehicle status?

Just checked - depends if you have the full maxidot, or the basic dot display on the FL

It will be on fixed servicing now after I reset it a while ago. I change the oil and filter every 5000 miles so fixed is fine.

I will check the maxidot. Anyone know how I do it???
