Sounds about right...in stock form it's already 300Nm...you've got tarmac shredding figures man..

Can we put a ban on threads about remaps until my insurance permits me to have one?

Sounds great mate, I am not jelous in anyway :o

same amount of torque as mine' date=' 14k since remap, 28k in total and all is well!!

All depends on how you drive the car

Ah yes, them to... Some people can be so selfish :rofl:

Can I ask whether it is necessary to wait until a brand new Furby is "run in" before getting it remapped? If so, what sort of mileage are we talking about?

I would say it's sensible, but quite a few people have had them mapped almost from new and haven't been disappointed. I would say at least until 1000 miles have rolled by.

Personally, I would wait until about 6k has passed, maybe longer. For example, I noticed on mine that MPG improved noticeably after 10k, which is surely a sign that the engine is still bedding in up to this point.

So remapping after this point should yield better figures I would have thought.

Some people didn't wait, and had there's remapped at 600 odd miles, I wouldn't bother until at least 7K but definetly after 10K miles.

Not saying you have to or it will damage the engine, just what I personally would do. :)
