Cruise control on Fabia 1.4 BBZ engine

Hi, I am new in this forum and I need your help guys. I installed the cruise control on my fabia, I activated through VDS and is not working at all. There is no sign that is not working. I confirmed again through Vag com that the option for the cruise is activated! Any ideas?

VAG-COM Activation Procedure

Activating Cruise Control on a new ECU (DBW):

Factory fresh ECU's often come with cruise control de-activated. If this

is the case,

there will not be a letter "G" in the Component field of VAG-COM when connected to the Engine.

[select] [01 - Engine] [Login - 11] Enter 11463 to activate cruise control [Do It!]

Sorry you didnt get the whole info there. But basically i downloaded the info from teeside website. They dont recommend fitting to

1.4 because there are issues with cc because when car is underload the ecu has trouble keeping the car at maintaining speed going up a incline for instance

I was looking into it for my pd100 1.9tdi comfort.

Thanks for the reply. I've done the installation exactly as the guide you posted, I have double checked the wiring and everything seems to be ok. I've check the letter G and it is there, which means that probably the cruise is activated but still not working.  :yawn:
