Thank you for this forum and the knowledge base within. Without it I wouldn't be the owner of my first ever Skoda (and VAG product). Almost every bit of research I did for this car kept bringing me back to this site. The CR vs PD debates are particularly fun(!).

I've just bought a 2008 Octavia vRS CR diesel estate, and will be taking delivery next week.

It may well be, it's an SIII ex-MOD 109 from Northern Ireland. Hard to track exact history of the forces vehicles :/
