Cost of replacing both outer CV gaiters (Garage job)

Featured Replies

Just saw I'm having to replace both outer CV gaiters because both are split-in-half..

It will have to be a garage job probably around £60 per-hour, as unable to crawl around under the car myself these days.

Have changed loads of mini cv joints and gaiters in the past and guess there can't be a great of deal of difference as a comparison.

Think I paid £60ish for one on my Octavia last summer.

I got full timing belt kit, full Aux belt kit, both wishbone bushes, both sides, and both cv boots.  i bought parts, paid £120 labour -

I paid £40 mates rates a couple of weeks ago, so £50/60 odd each side sounds reasonable to me. (Incl parts)
