You need 2 rear view mirrors, one of which must be the drivers door mirror. The other mirror can be either the passenger side door or the interior mirror. If the mirror is cracked then the testers discretion will allow a pass or a fail depending on whether it allows an adequate view of the rear and if it's secure.

if worried you can get cheap stick on ones to go over the cracked one, not as elegant but will pass.
