........Is it me or does the new Audi TT ( stupidly named the Shooting Brake! ) Look like a clone of the BMW 1 series. I don't like it and think that if Audi are going to release this as a replacement for what is probably one of the most sucessful Coupes ever they will lose a lot of loyal followers. The TT was something really different when it came out but this is well.....A N Other Car!

Strange choice to make, especially as the 1 series is the cheapest beemer and the TT isnt exactly a cheap car in comparison. Seems like an odd move to make :confused:

That isn't the replacement for the TT.

There is an entirely new TT based on the Golf mk5 that looks quite similar in style to the current one.

The shooting brake (which won't end up being called that) is a totally separate model even if it would share lots of the mechanicals

The back 3/4 view looks like a Megane to me - perhaps its the light clusters?

Looks like an early concept sketch to me that, hopefully any similar model coming out will look a little better...

The front end looks just fine.

Once it has a TT style rear I think it's going to make a very nice car

It looks fine because it looks Japanese.

That's the problem with new European cars coming out, they look Japanese, and we have ENOUGH of those on the road.

The term 'Shooting Brake' isn't exlusive to Audi. It's been used for many years to describe a two door sports car with an estate type rear and hatch boot door. Think BMW Z Coupe or Scimitar etc....

Looks a lot like the Altea to me.

On closer inspection of the front-view picture, it seems to me to have the 'new' Ford Focus' headlights - seems like Audi have been raiding everyone's parts bins for this concept!

Defo for a BMW1 copy. I`m not a TT fan, but i prefer what we have at the moment.

They reckon all cars will look pretty much the same soon due to NCrAP.Disappointingly I think thats true (horrible MPV's for everyone)
