S3 INJECTORS

Featured Replies

How come people dont use s3 injectors when getting mapped as surely it makes sense rather than running stock ones at over 90 of there ability?

I do

I have 225 TT ones which I suspect are the same.

so what gains if any or just easier on fuel system in general? do they need mapping in?

TT and S3 injectors are the same, injection time doesn`t go over 20ms or 80% IDC, that`s why they are better.

do they need mapping in ? just use the injectors or 4 bar reg and rail too?

Yes they need mapping, use stock rail and 3 bar fpr. No need for 4 bar fpr, if you need more flow than s3 injectors can provide it`s better to use 440cc green tops.

WAS JUST ASKING AS I HAVE A SET LOL

Better spray pattern with the BAM injectors apparently. Is the standard lambda sensor clever enough to cope with a hike in injector capacity?

Had mine custom mapped with TT injectors, 4 BAR FPR, ABD Inlet manifiold, 3" MAF, hybrid turbo, FMIC, CAI, uprated fuel pump etc :D

lol your just showing off now rob lmao not even a bit jealous :p

I put a shedload of money into it the last two years. Trying to chill now and just enjoy it.

Yes it is, s3 uses the same wideband lambda sensor but also has EGT sensor which octavia doesn`t have. When egt starts to rise ECU dumps more fuel to cool down the motor.
