I am ready to have my 986 calipers repainted along with a set of S3 rears that I want to fit at the same time.

 

I'm torn between sticking within the OEM red theme (albeit whatever the Porsche red is, which has a little bit more orange in it than the original Skoda red) or going for something else. I don't want black, grey, yellow, blue, purple (even Cadburys) and am sort of halfway between that Lamborghini orange and the mad, bright green colour that Porsche used for the hybrid Panamera and Cayenne. I also had VW's Viper (?) Green on the list - the one that the Scirocco gets.

 

Any other suggestions?

Go understated maybe, Silver with Metal Flake sparkle.

Please ensure that whichever colour you go for that you include a suitably confusing brand name on them. I'll suggest:

The Wilwood ones look good Geoff.

Or STOP in white with a white pinstripe round the outside of the caliper if they get painted red. Will look like a squished stop sign.

What about bronze or the colour they do the Subaru Brembos in?

Ive got the same predicament ! Porsche calipers arent the same red as my car (corrida red). Also refurbiing a set of wheels done in corrida red to match the car so need a colour that stands out against the wheels and body, was thinking bright green or Kawasaki green but my original calipers are green and fancy a change ! Mmm decisions decisions ! I think yellow on silver or black cars looks good j0hn. Anybody any suggestions for me ???
