Spot on buddy glad your through for another year. The good thing with those jobs you have twelve months to get them done. Mine failed two years ago on wishbone bushes so i had to get them done within 10 days. I uprated to the audi tt ones well recommended. As for this year mines just failed again last week on a passenger side ball joint. Not the end of the world but as a fail i had to get it done within 10 days. Guess what i was doing on Easter sunday!!

Seems to be catching. I had a nearside front spring snap short, organised some spare shocks, booked in for swap shock and MoT only to find the offside spring was cracked too! Other shock being replaced today; more beer tokens :(

Anyone want a low mileage set of A3 Jom coilovers to fit standard Octy mk1? I bought them for mine but 30mm lowering is too much for some of the rough rural roads I use from time to time.

Chorley, Lancs

Mine failed on a rear broken spring in January. Seems to be a common thing now.

Certainly is.  The rear spring was on its way out too as a coil on the bottom had fractured

I had a rear spring go not long after I got thevcar three years ago but fortunately managed to pick up an almost new set from fleabay.

Regards, Mike
