Celtic Tuning

Featured Replies

A bit off the skoda topic but this site is a fountain of knowledge. I want the family S max 1.8tdci 123bhp remapped. Celtic say they can get 165bhp but I thought I had heard they were a bit ott on power claims. Any other firms to look at superchips etc.

Pumaspeed, Motorsport Developments and others.

Were are you so someone can maybe suggest a good Dealer / Installer in your area,

rather than just just a 'Brand'.

Where are you then Jabozuma.

I looked at mountune but they did not seem to do my car. Looking into super nova from here

Close ;), don't turn around!

But seriously, give 'em a call, perhaps despite not listing it they might still be doing it?

I'm about to go with Celtic tuning for my optima I think. Seem like a knowledgeable company and one of only a few that have developed a map for my car. Personally I agree that the figures look a bit high..they claim around 180bhp from my car..it gas 134bhp to start with. Their rolling road graph shows their development car kicking out 150bhp as standard, with final figure of 180bhp. I'm thinking I'll get around 160bhp.

My original vrs came with a Celtic tuning map - it was awful, flat lined low power from 2k revs. It's relatively straight forward mapping the pd130, so I wouldn't trust them on anything complex.

Maybe just a one off. Who knows
