Hey all I want to some advice. I have my fabia blackline but the engine has a few issues as we all know the fabia on a 2002 reg is the dinosaur engine, what I mean is engine is very loud and needs around £700 of work done to it so I think it's not worth it.

What I want to do if it's possible is I wanted to convet to the fabia VRS engine?

I know they are Diesel engines but I have been told even if I could convert the engine the VRS engine wouldn't hold the weight on the mounts is this true? I don't want to get rid of the car as the body work is amazing for the age as I bought it and it was a mess. I have spent a lot of cash cleaning it l up.

Any advice would be great
