Hi all.

From my time lurking here, I've gathered I might need some assistance in tweaking some settings on our new purchase.

We're devoid of Maxidot and I'd like to change a few settings if at all possible.

I'll be honest with you, I know nothing of what settings are locked inside and if any of my desired settings can be achieved with the spec we have.

For example I'd like to enable the central locking to simply unlock all doors on one fob press. We have OPS. Can our mirror be made to angle down on engagement of reverse? Can 'guide me home' lamps be enabled?

Owning 2 20+ year old Polos and a teenage Picasso all this electronic wizardry is a bit baffling to me!

So we can get a few more goodies on the car thanks to VCDS.

We do have a FL model. It was a requirement of t'other half that we got a FL car as she can't quite get on with the looks of a pre FL front end. Don't as me why though!

Is anti-hijack locking another setting locked away too?

Anti-hijack can easily be enabled or disabled as with one touch unlock.

I'm in Hinckley at weekends and this weekend coming is a busy one.

I have an MOT on Saturday morning, then driving over to Wolverhampton to pick up some wheels from the refurbishers (assuming all is well with the MOT) and then set about removing some ridiculously coloured depictions of baked goods from the front O/S quarter.
