bit off topic but i have fitted a twin  usb socket to my octy to charge  phones lap top etc and i wired it up to the battery with in line fuses so properly done, my question is the socket has a led to let you know its on so obviously bieng connected to the battery the led is on all the time does anybody know what sort of power the led will sap if i leave the car say a week to go away?.

great advice so good in fact that ive just come in from the garage having done just what you suggested. im afraid some times im just the proverbial bull in the china shop and just go rushing in. thanks Simbo
