Sloppy gear change

Featured Replies

Hi guys. My octavia had quite a rubbish gear change. When I got it in order to get into 1st I had to put it into 2nd then slide it into 1st. I fiddled with the linkage at the weekend and I now have first but when its in I have a lot of Lateral movement. Is this common on them and is there a way to fix it?

Cheers

You can get uprated alloy bushes for the linkage, tightens things up a treat. Draft42 iirc??
