my has a breakers yard and breaks german cars.he has no front shocks left for a vrs.so would any other shocks fit of another car,ie golf turbo.or diesel ect

The vrs has a bracket on the strut where the anti roll bar drop link fits to. This set up is different to non vrs models where the drop link fits to the wishbone. But the vrs set up is the same as audi s3 leon cupra and i think mk4 golf gt/gti. So as long as the donor car has that set up with the bracket on the strut it will fit.

Just to add though there might be weight differences between those cars my advice also would be to use your vrs springs to ensure correct ride height.

thats the problem cant use my springs as they are broke.were is the best place to get new springs

There is a discussion ongoing about suspension on the first page. 'Oem suspension'. Devonutopia has a full set for sale atm. Drop him a message. Either that or your local tps but original springs are really expensive.
