Featured Replies

My octy vrs water level runs low every few weeks any ideas what could it be? ive been told its early signs of head gasket on its way but its been running low since i changed the radiator.. there are no leaks that i can see or no of.. any help would be much appricated

Are you sure you don't have a slight leak somewhere? Sometimes they can be really small and only leak when the engine has cooled down and everything contracts. Put some sheets of paper under it over night and see if there are any spots anywhere in the morning.

If it was the head gasket, you'd have a steamy exhaust or emulsified oil in the sump.

well it dont drip any water after being parked for a while.. so dont no how bad the leak can be

If possible carefully examine the top of the gearbox for presence of water. Sometimes water leaks on it and it slowly evaporates, and you might not see any drips on the ground.
