Rubber Bump Stops

Featured Replies

I found a small lump of rubber on my driveway a few days ago, and didn't have a clue what it was. My father-in-law identified it as a rubber bump stop from a car's suspension. He also reckoned that my Rapid was missing 2. However, the car has only done 2.5k miles, and the rubber looked ancient. We also have a much older C2 parked on the drive, plus we are on a very busy main road so it could easily have come off a passing car. Does anyone know exactly what the Rapid's bump stop should look like, and where it located so that I can have a look later? A google image search just shows loads of different bump stops, so it's hard to know which is for the Rapid. If mine are missing, is it a major thing to fix, and should they be going missing on a 3 month old car?

Picture of the offending item would help.

My wife found it and sent 2 pics:

Now am I going blind or is that a Citroen badge in the first photo?

That is indeed a Peugeot and a Citroen logo on that in the first pic, so it didn't come off your Skoda.

That has most likely come off your C2!
