looking to remove the wing mirror casings so i can spray them black any idea how they come away..? i asume a few screws on the underside of the mirror..?

Remove the glass and there's 2 T10 or T15 Torx screws to be undone then it just lifts up, it will be tight and you might have to give it a bit of a lever, but it will move.

This is as long as it's a Mk1 Octavia?

Mine came off really easy yesterday...but that may have been to do with the truck that reversed in to it.

lol i had my glass robbed by some punk now got a new glass in they've broke the black ring that the glass attaches to so when ever i go over a speed bump or shut the door the glass faces the floor its annoying
