Been priced luk for £320 fitted

And Mr Clutch at Norwich for £ 255 fitted 2years warranty

DON'T TOUCH MR. CLUTCH, you'll be sorry if you do.

Get a Sachs kit fitted by a decent independent VW specialist.

Can I please ask why. Car is only worth 1000 if that

I have never heard a single good report about any Mr. Clutch branch, their work is always slapdash, they'll break your alternator load sense wire, may well screw up your gear linkage and you'll have to take the car back for them to correct the faults, it will cost you time and be frustrating and inconvenient, they often use reconditioned parts rather than new and the bill is generally higher than the initial quote.

Other than that I have no objections.

The car may well not be worth much money but you obviously want to keep it so why not do it right.
