Just been reading the thread on "How Fast" and it reminded me of one of the most mind blowing acceleration experiences I have ever had!. (See Piccy's).

These were taken in Florida 2004, the ride G-Force propelled you from 0-100mph in just 2 seconds , AWESOME . If youv'e tried this then you will know what I'm on about but if you havn't and are lucky enough to be going to Florida go try it, amazing.

Just in case your'e wondering, thats me in the blue car (I know what your'e thinking, should have been a Porn Star!! ).

i went on the 'superman the escape' ride at six flags magic mountain in california some years back, that was awesome. 0-85 in 3 secs i think and 2 seconds of zero g. have also been on the big shot on top of stratosphere tower las vegas, that blew my head off. not literally of course.......

hmm, think I'd know better mentioning speed by now (AHEM!) but used to run cars at yourk dragway in the northern streetcar challenge..v8 capri (old rover conversion) and a batterd old camero (5.7 small block) which used to do regular 15 sec passes.

on the pot holed strip as it was then (probably still is) it was err..interesting.

actually in an american car with little stopping power and the stability of a ****ed up three legged pig in stilletoes it was a bit scary.
