Mk1 2004 octavia 1.9 Td no turbo power

Featured Replies

Hi, has any one else experienced lack of throttle responce on this vehicle, it still drives but it seems that the turbo isn't doing anything, this happens intermittently, at any random time, is it a problem with the throttle or the turbo ?? There isn't any messages and no lights lit up, had something similar on another skoda before and had to replace the throttle but that came up with faults and went into limp mode.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Jim

Sound like the common problem of sticking veins in the turbo. Search Mr Muscle and it lists how to clean them. Hope that helps?

Get a VCDS diagnostic done as it sounds like it's going into limp mode so there should be a fault code logged in the ECU.
