So, given the opportunity, would you go for the 2.3 Ecoboost or the 5.0 V8, and what specs would you go for?

I think it would be rude not to go for the 5.0 V8. Maybe in a nice blue or red.

The Ecoboost seems to make a lot of sense in every way but for a car like a Mustang it seems wrong to go for anything less than a V8.

I wish that Ford would bring the new V6 to Europe, respectable stock power output, potential for more 7 a nice sound too.

That definitely makes sense, I was surprised the ecoboost engine was a turbocharger straight four rather than a turbocharged V6.

I originally thought the dealers were having some stock in April but it turns out that you're only able to order at the moment. That means an August or September timetable (so their ill-informed staff tell me) to get one to test drive!

I've just come back from Florida and had the 2.3 as a hire car. It sounded awesome and went pretty well. They were all over in Florida. Really nice car!

Quite tempted by a V8 one come bonus time. Some ofthe panel gap photos I've seen are a bit off putting mind.

Back OT though, I (think) I saw an article recently that gave the emissions as Band I for the 2.3. Not that bad for something that has 'Eco' in the engine name. Hopefully the RS will be the same.
