frosted headlights

Featured Replies

is it possible to just get the plastic part of the headlight seperate, or do i need to buy full headlight? the front glass is frosted slightly

IIRC, T Cut will bring them back clear with a bit of effort

Toothpaste and a good stiff brush will take the frosting off.

To reduce it happening again then you'll need UV Sealant to finish the job.

800grit, 2000grit then a Da or rotary will bring them up like new.

If you don't feel up to it I'm sure there will be a friendly forum member near to you who could help?

Devonutopia Is the man you need, he might not be too far from you either, based on an assumption that your name equals location and my bad knowledge of geography

I second this. Seen it used on really really cloudy lights and came up a treat inside 5 minutes or so.

Yeah, I have refurbished fabia lens' several times. Based in Exmouth, takes about an hour. :)

Couple of grades of sandpaper (800, 1000, 2000), tcut and alot of elbow grease. Finish with plastic x.

The uv protector stuff, is it just an apply once and forget? Or do you need to regularly apply it?

The stuff I have will last a long time. But it's £45 for 30ml lol
