Hi everyone,

New on here, so apologies if this has already been posted. I have a 06 plate Octavia Ambiente 2.0 TDI PD8V estate and the red steering light came on.

The car then went really heavy to steer. I tried the old "Switch off and back on" to no avail. Any ideas on what it could be? I assume it could be a variety of reasons.....

First thought is low hydraulic level in the PAS reservoir.....  second thought is **** that'll cost!!!!

Octy PAS is all electric so no hydraulic fluid to worry about.
