Silly question, I am after a connects2 for my Fabia (an aux one) but every kit I see only lists up to 2005, and the rest for

05 onwards are for the mk2.

I have the symphony with the CD player, would this still work if I bought the pre2005 kit?

Yes, they should do. I specifically asked them about the "USB" unit. I raised a support ticket on their site asking the question.

 

This one is cheap and merely provides and AUX-in, losing the CD changer.

This one does "passthru" of the CDC as well as allowing connection of USB sticks etc.

Thanks a lot much appreciated! I only need the aux to be honest, would do perfect.

Let's hope the aux one works with an 06 facelift with the CD!

Just to update it, a pre05 Connects2 kit did work with a face lifted VRS!
