Whining Fabia VRS

Featured Replies

Just got a brand new Fabia VRS, fantastic apart from the high pitched whine between 30 and 40 on the overrun. Any ideas? Garage is gonna change the front wheel bearings. V disappointed :(

Hi tomo~

It might be that you won't receive an answer to your question on this forum, as this one is more to do with non-car technology (e.g. PCs, cameras etc).

I note you have posted into a thread on a car forum, so might receive an answer to your specific question if it's sufficiently related to the thread. Might be better just to start a new thread with your particular problem methinks.

I'm sorry that I cannot answer your question, but there are lots of people who probably can

Regards

Mo

Wrong forum mate.

But the answer is one of 2 things. It's either the Turbo or whever is in your passenger seat (but I think it's more likely to be the first one)

either way, there is nothing wrong

as said, the turbo makes a whining noise when spooling up, if you put the clutch in, take your foot off the accelerator etc does it stop? If so its the turbo and is completley normal, if not your cars fooked
