Complete MDI Kit

Featured Replies

I have a full and complete MDI kit for sale. I bought all the parts last year and did intend on fitting to my Octavia Blackline however I have now realised that I am never really going to get round to it. The kit includes:

Loom

Module

Extension cable

Metal bracket for RHD Octavia

Nylon nuts

Cable Trim

iPod MDI cable

USB MDI cable

I am in no rush to sell it as I have had it sitting around for a while so no silly offers please. £100 delivered OVNO

It will work with any Boloreo, Amundsen or Colombus unit.

Will this need coding?

Also on the Amundsen head unit will I lose the aux input if I have this fitted?

Any pics of the media screen?

It will need coding. Plenty of people on here that will be willing to help you for a beer or two though.

No you should have both on the Amundsen as its inbuilt on the front of the unit isn't it.

Sorry I don't have any pictures of it up and running as I never fitted it.

That's a great how to guide with loads of pictures though.

Hope that helps.

my only issue is that i already have the extra bluetooth modular box thing too :( and i have no idea if this will also fit :(

So do I and its fine as the loom doesn't use the separate green plug for the Bluetooth Mic so it can still be plug straight into the back of the unit.

Let me know.

I think Paul means he has the non bt enabled Amundsen with the separate bt module. However, I managed to fit two quadlocks (for bt module and mdi) behind my Columbus by taking top dashbox out and pulling the quadlocks over the left hand side of the cage. Also aux can be wired through the mdi pass through pins, which allows it to be enabled when mdi is not connected. Hope that helps.
