Hey guys just fitted a pd150 turbo and was wanting your opinion on why the car feels a lot slower now. The car is running a pd130 map to 170bhp, 285ib ft (will post pic) but now with new turbo when i drive it, it feels slower and sluggish even up high rpms is this becuase the car needs re-mapped again? There are no boost leaks and no vacuum leaks, with my old turbo 2nd gear was quick as hell from low down to high up rpm range it was rapid now it is so slow as i watch it climb. Any ideas? Thanks.

Ok thanks, i read on here that people had on hybrid pd150s etc on normal map and it drove fine which is why i am worried

Hybrid 150 on stock map is still laggy.

You will prob need the actuator rod setup correctly and a remap to make the most of it.

I had my pd150 kicking out 196bhp on the same rr my pd130 made 176bhp so theres another 20bhp available

It isnt as torquey but when u do get it spooling it is quick

I have a standard map with a pd150. I'm getting it remapped by faboka soon. He's seen the logs and it's all set up correctly.

From some timing I've done its a second slower 30-70 in third than when it had a pd130 (and 2 holes in the intercooler!!)

20-40 in seconds its .6 slower.

What's a safe running limit of a pd150?

Mine from 70+ has dramatically increased With pd150

install stock map and then get a correct map for the PD150 turbo

Is there a reason 3rd gear pulls better at any rpm than 2nd gear?

I stuck a PD150 on mine and ran it on the map for the 130 and it was ****e, propa laggy, got it mapped again and it was loads better, you'll find the 150 pulls a lot harder top end.
