1.4 TDI - BNV 80 bhp Engine Injector timing

Featured Replies

After having a cylinder head fully refurbished it was way down on power.

I have reset the Torsion Value to 00.06 = Much better but down on MPG

So I reset the Injector timing - Slacken off the adjuster nut, using an allen key I wound down the inner spindle till it felt a bit stiff, then backed the spindle back by 180' and reset the adjuster nut = Much, much better.

However looking on other Skoda Workshop manuals it shows the inner spindle being backed off 225' - Which is correct ?

Not sure on the difference. Where did you get each guide/picture?

From what I can tell the top one is right for 2000 - 2005 and the bottom is for about 2006 - 2007 for Fabias.

Might be because the newer one has different emissions they are set up different, but it might also be pure rubbish.
