Featured Replies

Hi,

I need a new stat housing and sensor, want to order one this eve if possible but unsure of part number. I have 1999 Skoda Felicia L 1.3MPI, base model without pas, central locking etc. After searching ebay, I think I need

But I also found the following number listed

047121111E

Anyone know the correct number for my car?

047121111A - for Felicia 1.3 MPI 50kW (136M engine)

047121111E - for Felicia 1.3 MPI 40kW (135M engine)

Thank you so much. I think I have the 135m but will check again in the morning before I order.

Got the genuine skoda part 'E' for the lower output 135m from eBay seller for 21.50 GBP. Much cheaper than I could find the higher output 'A' part.

According to another vendor the E model part is for the older carburetor engined Felicia, and will not fit any MPI engine. The A model part fits all MPI engines regardless of power output.

I have already ordered the E part. I'll have to see if it is any different when it arrives. Maybe I will need to buy the A model part and sell the E model

According to another vendor the E model part is for the older carburetor engined Felicia

'Older carburetor engined Felicia' ? I drive one of those 'older' 2000 Felicia 1.3 GLX on carburetor (GLX stands for full options). Felicia 1.3 on carburetor was mass produced in the same period (1994-2001) with injected type engines. Carburetor engines have 43kW (without cat) or 42kW(with cat). Even some Felicia Pickups were fitted with 1.3 carburetor engines.

I have had similar part number woes with Felicias before. Worst was a front cv gaiter for a diesel. Four vendors all quoting different numbers, and convinced they were beyond correct. Only one fitted out of the four, and it was the last vendor I tried.

I will update when it has been fitted.
