Still having issues with missing after changing the : injector loom, injectors (carried out at Skoda main stealers), I have also replaced the MAP sensor, MAF sensor, EGR Valve, Oil AND Fuel Filters, and I'm STILL having missing issues.... although strangly enough its better with MAP sensor unplugged plus I get slightly better mpg with it unplugged so its  begining to look like an electrical issue of some kind ???? maybe !

I now wondering if the engine loom has any issues and its either shorting or breaking down causing strange effects when MAP sensor plugged in and or trying to earth through wrong avenues etc etc...

Anyone had any issues with engine looms ??  OR can tell me where the earthing points are for the loom and what would be the best plug sockets to check other than the obvious ecu terminal/plug.

NO error codes showing even though its almost undrivable at times (when the MAP plugged in) and YES I have tried more than one MAP sensor, I have three in total they all cannot be faulty can they.

Anyone close to Bristol (ish) who's willing to throw a pair of fresh eyes at it cos its beging to grind me into the ground, other than that I love the vehicle even though its paintwork resembles a scrap heap challenge vehicle.

Thanks for looking and any input you can give.

regards

Andrew

I had the same sort of problems after having my injectors replaced under recall, was like trying to find a needle in a haystack with no fault codes either, was ready to get rid of the car after it was off the road for 4 weeks...

However, we did find the problem..

It turned out that when Skoda replaced the injectors, they slightley trapped the loom under the rocker cover, and i mean only slightly... But this was sufficient enough to cause shorting out, loom was replaced and everything was ok..

Hope this helps mate...
