Engine Oil for Monte 1.2 tsi 2011

I keep getting the oil icon flash up every couple of months on my Monte and need to top up.

Any suggestions for the oil? Can't remember for the life of me whether it was 5W30 or 5W40 I put in the last time...

I believe fixed servicing is 5w30 so something like Castrol FST 5w30 would do nicely. £36ish from ECP for 4l

Hi we recently bought a nearly new 2025 Skoda Enjaq 2025 85X and three weeks ago the following happened to my wife on a flat car park: I reversed into a parking space with empty spaces each side of the car. I elevated the P switch to red light position. I opened driver door and screen was on Goodbye. I got out of car and closed driver door. I opened rear right passenger door to remove a bag. Closed that door. Remembered I needed to turn off Interior Monitoring as dog was in the boot. Opened

I had a low coolant error flash up the other day (first time ever). Checked coolant level & it was a bit low. Topped it up & will keep monitoring. Question is where has the coolant escaped from? No obvious signs of any leaks. Mileage is 52,500 & next service is away off. Does the 280 have a weep hole in the water pump to indicate a new pump is required?

Generally, i dont like to be one of those people to open up another topic that has been exhausted time and time again, but after extensive research, i really am struggling to find a forum response that matches fully with my issue. I brought my 1.2 tsi 2016 CJZD Rapid earlier this year. As soon as I picked up the car, i noticed the issue, but the garage i purchased it from had wiped their hands clean.
