Other than venting, is there quite a cheap catch can (ideally that would fit standard hose pipe) anyone used ?

 

I'm aware of the occasional sideways puff.....I imagine a semi holed plastic drink cabled tied to the end of the cable dangling under the car wouldn't hurt !

 

(mines already been venting on a long run to underneath the car since I cleaned out the intake yonks ago)

I made my catch can out of an oil separator from a range rover and a coffee tin lol

It actually works quite well

Have seen someone using a large coke bottle on a Subaru. The bigger the better IMO. You want to slow the vapours down to encourage droplets to form. Also worth having some form of mesh/wool in there to encourage it further. But should be stainless (if metallic) and not liable to break down easily.

You can get a cheap on for 20quid off eBay, although the inlets might not be the 19mm on the proper jobs
