Stool

Featured Replies

I'm thinking of investing in a stool. What do you guys use / recommend?

If only my drive was flat enough to use one of these

Thanks Chris. That's a great price and is exactly what I'm after

Nice one Ben - this is the last style i purchased - great idea i think.

But for James - there are a few types you certainly want to consider....

1. Z/L creeper Ben mentions.

2. mechanics stools - fixed height or adjustable?

3. stools with added function or storage perhaps?

ie. One i spotted recently doubled up as a stand for doing 4x4's etc.

Youre welcome

Mine has a slope, but not enough that it makes it difficult to use

There are other stools without wheels.

I have another designed to be used in a shower.......my parents owned it, that's really good on the drive too

I was referring to the surface finish of the drive making the wheels useless not the slope but point taken.

I like the creepers that folds up to a stool though.

I must admit I currently use an old bucket upside down ;-)

Youll need one without wheels then

I got one of these. Very handy and easy to use but its more for standing than sitting on especially if you're old and stiff.....

I'm young but can feel my back going when I spend all day on the car. Hence a stool to sit on
