Featured Replies

George; yes that was my understanding too. I basically told the dealer it would b in their own intrest to tell my about thE chain if it was dealt with prior to my purchasing the car; as I would only keep pestering them every time I thought there mite b an issue!

A different dealer might tell you, might they not?

Indeed they may but here in Edinburgh the only other skoda dealer is a Arnold Clark skoda franchise which, going by the reviews of this dealer on this forum, isn't helpful. I could try them. But Arnold Clark (or shark) hasn't got a good rep in its own right!

Ah right.

Yeah. Arnold Clark arent known to be the best haha, still might be worth an ask.

They probably know their customers are fairly captive and play on it slightly

Does your Dealership do them,

or are they sent off or does someone come and do them?

Sorry OT,

 Tom,

how did you get on with the engine and oil consumption.?

And yeah doing well so far done roughly 3600 miles with the oil only moving slightly on the dipstick so I am very happy at the moment, definitely beats every 400 or so lol
