just wondering if everyone else knows you can knock the gears up and down with the gear knob when in D+ instead of using the flappy panels you can just knock the gearstick up and down to change gears, happy motoring  

Yeah it's got -/+ on the side

You mean pushing it over to left?? Then yeah reckon most knew that. Its on every auto I've driven.

Another good thing about moving the gearstick to the left is that you can also use the paddles, and the system won't automatically shift back into "D" if you don't change gear for ten seconds or so.

And if you are in D and start to use the paddles and want to go back into auto D then long press the +paddle 

Hardly a "trick". I thought this function was obvious by just looking at the gearstick.

You should always keep your eyes on the road Phil. It is a neat trick and it's a magic one at that. Especially if yours changes jyst by looking at it

Well yes... obviously. But anyone who has looked at the gearstick (maybe while not driving) can see the markings for the + & -.
