Hi guys whats the gearbox code for the box with the longer ratio?

I think it's FSM FJW for the longer ratios. Definitely start with F

FJW is definitely the long one.

 

I had a Cordoba PD130 with FJW gearbox and the gearing was very long. 70mph was less than 2000rpm.

I never got out of 4th gear around Combe.  5000rpm in 4th is about 125mph

Would like to know what car that was on first as if it was A4/Passat, then they are right.  But that's down to the way the engine sits, not the gearbox ratios (which FJW means)

I was considering it myself. A big part of me just wonders what the point is though, as when are you realistically going to be able to use it without risking a life threatening crash or the possibility of jail time if you're caught?...

 

Not to mention that the Fabia is about as aerodynamic as a brick. Not good at 150mph+ !

Sounds like you guys need the epic 1.2 petrol gearbox I'm using at the minute.

3,500 rpm is 60mph.

As per Jason's post above... it's likely out of a another car such as a Passat or Audi. Hence may have a different casing.

 

Best bet is to drop them a message and ask them. Although doubtful considering they clearly state it won't fit!
