Citigo seems like a great little car from all reports.Plenty of positive reviews from owners here on Briskoda.

didn't know whether I would get more for my £ with it having skoda badge rather than Toyota

Need to try and fit a pushchair in boot, unsure of boot sizes

I know when I first mentioned skoda she said are them monte carlos, but they be higher up the insurance group

I have to admit my old 2003 Yaris didn't have a lot in the way of boot space, but it was an amazing little car in every other respect.Yaris' got larger after about 2007/2008 I'd certainly have another if the bootspace has improved.Yep the Monte Carlo's are a wee bit higher on insurance i think, very good looking cars though.

at 25 you no longer classed as a young driver.

After not a new one unless they did free insurance, just curious as to how much they depreciate.

Cant see servicing being much hopefully

Know a friend bought a Octavia a while back new, when it was no vat, great saving she had.

Whats got more spec elegance or se, she after one with a few extras

Go onto www.skoda co.uk

Select model and the use the Configurator option , that will tell you

Just my 2 pence worth from an insurance point of view as I have no idea of any of the cars you are looking at.

When my son was 17 we were looking at what car he wanted then being scared off by insurance quotes, eventually we got wise and sat for a full afternoon obtaining quotes on a whole raft of cars, we quickly found two things out that were important, first, a 1 litre micro car is not necessarily the cheapest to insure as we found that a 1.4 16 valve Lupo was cheaper than a 1.0 litre Lupo.

Also and this was something that amazed me, if you fill in an online comparison site for all your details you get a list of quotes, this is what I did for my son, when he filled one in himself from his mobile phone (on the phone network not the house router) for the same car and details, the quotes that came back were around £200 a year cheaper.

Maybe Dan @ Adrian Flux can explain why insurance is such a random thing, do you have a big red button in front of you when people call, you hit it and whatever price it shows on the randomator is the price the victim has to pay?

Good luck with choosing the correct car and getting a fair price from your insurer.

yeah amazes me what insurance companies quote, on comparison sites they don't look too bad until you actual go to take insurance out, then its gone up about another 20% or you tell them you had it cheaper and then they take it off

im currently with nfu for my cars and find them great no the cheapest though aint asked them for a quote yet but will do
