Spray Abyss and Nanolex Wetcoat

Featured Replies

Purchased both of these with some spare birthday cash last week. Have been after the spray Abyss for awhile and keep missing it in the sales. Got to say, quite impressed. The red colouring is great to use on White cars! Also wanted a wet coating for those wet days! Tried Nanolex after reading a few write ups and watching some videos. So easy to apply and gives a great gloss on top of my existing wax. Both great purchases I'd recommend!!

Nice one Andy

Abyss is an awesome Sealer isnt it?

Ive not tried Nanolex...let me know how it performs can you?

Thanks Chris. Will keep you in the loop. Supposedly a top up to the existing LSP and lasts around 4 weeks which should help me with my wash regieme and my reasonably high mileage. Had a read on DW before I bought it. supposedly crackles as you apply it, but my ears are shot so no idea if it actually does!! The Abyss seems super slick and a breeze to apply. The ease of application for a beginner like me is key, also for someone with 2 young kids and not much spare time longevity it key also. What length of protection time are you seeing from Abyss?

I actually dont know because I top it with QD

Nanolex is good, weird popping sound when it's applied to the car. 4 weeks is about right. Gyeon Wetcoat lasts about 8 weeks. Both slightly different applications, but both are good as a topper for your existing LSP & both ideal if the weather is against you.

I have a sample of the Nanolex wetcoat - sounds very similar to KKD Purity-X.

When applied via the snow foam method it makes a fizzing/popping noise as it activates.

Then rinse off and dry.... certainly a decent product for a quick wash and protect regime

Thanks to you all. I will keep an eye on the longevity of both products and post back.
