I thought this sold recently after the reserve was met!? :confused: There's a piccie of the original damage on the auction now - who wants to place bets it was written off for chassis damage? Looks like some nasty deep impact wounds on that nearside wing! :eek:

Cat D. is only minor damage, if it had been chassis surely it would have been a B, or maybe C. The damage itself doesnt look to bad, the sill has only been graised by the looks of it. So, new doors, bonnet, wing, inner wing, and bumper, headlight, plus alloys. Sill will most likely have just been tidied and resprayed.

I think that A1topdogs octy vrs was more badly damaged, and he spent a lot of time getting it back on the road.

guess so Manny - my pessimistic mind just asks why if it "sold" before on Ebay, why its suddenly reappeared with no note about "last winning bidder was a timewaster" etc.

I like the way it looks on those Cupra alloys! Always fancied some dark grey wheels on mine...

(But not enough to get one that's been bent round a tree!!! )

I had them wheels on my old Fabia (might have been the same wheels, they aint many sets of them about and were up for sale on e-bay a while back).

Damage looks pretty superficial to me. once the door and wing/bumper are removed there wouldnt be alot of work to do.
