STU! someone ELSE using your website on ebay!

It's probably people from here using it unless it comes up in google or something. I can see from the web stats that the google bot has visited.

If they've linked to your pics, why not change them slightly?? ;)

Just alter the page address if they are linked

I've had this happen to me before on eBay. Well, they didn't link to my pics, they just stole them from a website and used them.

They were advertising a minimoto for sale on eBay, same model as mine, Polini 911 GP2. Instead of taking pics of their bike, they just copied mine from the Minimotoclub and used them. It wouldn't have been so bad, but i've changed a few things on my bike and added a nice rev counter/temp gauge/lap timer which was clearly visible in the pics. Anyway, i (and several other MMC members who'd spotted my bike for sale) complained to the seller and the bike promptly disappeared from eBay. It didn't surface again for some months, this time with a different set of pics. It turned out that the bike in question had actually been stolen from another MMC member, and that's why this guy was using everyone else's bike pictures. He got his bike back after another MMC member viewed it, confirmed it was the stolen bike and got the Police involved.

I don't really mind to be honest, it's not doing any harm. I want people to be able to use the site as a resource - that's why I maintain it.

The template was made for me by a friend and in return he has a Google adsense add in the corner so if it brings traffic and earns him money then no problem for me.

At least this one's a bit cleaner than the black one

Still not the best set of pictures I've seen to sell a car though...

I'd take it as a compliment Stu. I reckon the silver seller saw the link from the black one and copied it :)
