I now have a rev counter with no glowplug light flashing in the middle - something which it has had since the car was back on the road. Fitted the modded Skoda brake sender, as directed to by Ross again. Lovely and pink/lilac coloured.

Had some issues on first fit, i.e brake lights were on ALL the while but after a while it was working perfectly. Also have some heat now, but after running out of time my centre console is in bits on the passenger floor - Its just got the climate unit wired up and hanging down.

Refitting is tomorrow's job - I'm off out on the lash tonight.
